Athletics
I've been competing in individual and team sports since I was little, often against kids that were much older and bigger than me. For me, size or age doesn't matter because I consider it a challenge and always give it my all. I like being the underdog. Competitors underestimate me because of my size, but that's fine with me because I play to win.

Placing 1st Overall in The 14 and Under Division Litchfield Hills 7.1 Miler Road Race & Winner of The "Mary B. Concannon Award"
I was in 3rd-Grade racing against 5th-8th graders and placed 14th out of 86 runners from 6 different schools. The 8th grader next to me was wondering why a 3rd grader was running the race. My parents signed a waiver allowing me to run since I was suppose to be in 5th grade in order to compete but I was one of the fastest kids in the entire class so our St John's coach not only put me in the race but put me up front. I think I ran fast because I did not want to get run over.

Playing Basketball with High School Kid at Park
When I was in 3rd grade I would go to the local park in Rhode Island and ask the high school kids if I could play against them. Of course he went easy on me but it was still hard playing when a tall hand is in your face when you are trying to shoot
